nice to meet you, New York...

Just got here and ... so far so good. We'll spend 7 nights in Manhattan, Union Square Inn, and we'll be doing as much as one could. We'll keep you posted.

... and another 10 days in Normandie

We had a wonderful time in the little country town of Mandres, Normandie, at our friends' house, Doina, Titus and Eric.
We've seen the Atlantic Coast at Deauville, Le Havre and Etertat, pity it was too rainy and cold for a swim. We spotted a handful of daring surfers in the water, though.
Some drives around the country, old chateau visits, good food and beverages completed an unforgetable slice of our vacation.
