how to best handle...

how to best handle a difficult situation?

well... first find its handle and ... handle it!
so what if you only found the shorter end?

Emanuel demonstrating, after the wind turned his umbrella inside-out.

... it's raining in Baia Mare, Romania.

what's the giggle for..

Catching up with Daniela, Aurelia's cousin, in Baia Mare.

what's the giggle for?
maybe it's the 100 dollar note crawling out from under that book.

keeps crying: "please, please, pleeease ... spend meee!"

the moon came out...

the moon came out to greet us...

but not before saying Hi to the guys a bit ahead of us.

lights, camera, action

back in God's own art gallery...

this time in the evening on the way to Budapest.

We still fly Malev.

it's D26 not E26...

where is every one?

A letter makes a huge difference!
Aaaaah... it's D26 not E26.

We hope no one noticed. Please don't tell.

No more Qantas. We found new "sponsors".
We fly Malev (off to Budapest).

... alex's family

some of the rest of alex's family.

a few hours in Frankfurt, a drive along the river, a good traditional home made meal and lots of laughter in their home made our brief stay worthwhile.

quick! back to the airport.

alex

this is our friend Alex, a smiling Romanian German chap.

He took us to his home for our day in Germany...

a 6 hour shorter day, of course , courtesy of Qantas...

a bus for each...

it seems that's how it's done in Frankfurt.

For airport transfers, there's a bus for each passenger.

Or not ?

how great thou art...

this is mind blowing...

I can only "congratulate" and admire the artist and his work.

we keep flying Qantas.

fly through God's own private collection

the multimedia system starts playing up.

I decide to exchange the screen for the window.

The view is more inspiring than anything onboard (apart from Aurelia, of course).

Sunrise over Singapore.

first in best served...

very easy to avoid the crowds,

just get there before they do.

4.00 o'clock in the morning.

We still fly Qantas...

Special Service...

On arrival in Singapore we're told our connection flight to Frankfurt is delayed 6 hours.

We're tagged with the red "Special Service" label which secures us an entry inside Singapore, good feed and accommodation in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. All on the house(the House of Qantas).

almost worth the pain... and We still fly Qantas...

Don't give up...

"Run Fat boy Run", one of many onboard movies .

I loved it when during the marathon the main character hits his personal "wall". Give up or Look up? He breaths in inspiration and continues the run becoming the hero of the day.

Apart from some filterable scenes and phrases... good laughs.
For details... just buy or rent the movie... Our team flies Qantas.

ready to go

... minutes before getting on the plane.

we are excited... not enough though to lift off the ground yet...
